How to use Schedule Scrubber

Use this guide to operate the XER/XML scrubber, preview detected data, select what to strip, and download audit or scrubbed outputs.

Quick Start

  1. Open a project workspace and choose XER/XML Scrubber from the project-level module buttons.
  2. Choose XER mode or P6 XML mode.
  3. Choose a file or load the sample.
  4. Click Analyze / preview.
  5. Select the items to strip, then download the audit, raw data, or scrubbed file.

Open the scrubber

  1. Go to a project workspace.
  2. Choose XER/XML Scrubber in the Project level modules section.
  3. Use Open Scrubber to launch it in the embedded workspace.
  4. Use the expand control when you want more screen space.
  5. Use Open in new tab from expanded mode when you want a separate browser tab.

Choose file mode and upload

  1. Choose XER mode for Primavera XER files.
  2. Choose P6 XML mode for Primavera XML files.
  3. Click Choose file and select the file from your machine.
  4. Use Load sample when you want to test the scrubber without uploading your own file.
  5. After a file is selected, click Analyze / preview.

Review detected data

  1. Use Tables and detected fields to review the XER tables and fields found in the file.
  2. Use XML path / value signals when working in XML mode.
  3. Use Detected XML paths to browse XML path matches.
  4. Use Sample matches to inspect example rows or values for a selected item.
  5. Use the question-mark controls for field-specific help where shown.
  6. Use the close button on popouts to return to the main scrubber view.

Select what to strip

  1. Use Select all to mark every detected item.
  2. Use Clear all to remove all current selections.
  3. Use Select Critical+ Only to select the highest-priority scrub recommendations.
  4. Use Select High+ to select high-priority and critical recommendations.
  5. Use Select All Recommended to apply the module recommendation set.
  6. Select or clear individual rows when you want a custom scrub set.

Download outputs

  1. Use Download strip audit (.xlsx) to download an audit workbook of selected strip items.
  2. Use Download full raw data (.xlsx) to download the parsed raw data workbook.
  3. Use Download scrubbed file to download the cleaned XER or XML output.
  4. If you change selections after previewing, download the scrubbed file again so the output matches the latest selections.
  5. Keep the original source file separately; downloads are generated as new output files.
